Victoria Beckham 'inundated' with frock requests

She seems to reign victorious in the fashion world at the moment.

After her British Fashion Awards success, Victoria Beckham is set to show her eponymous line for the fourth time at New York Fashion Week on Sunday.

And the icing on the cake is the rumour that the 37-year-old has been inundated with requests from stars wanting to wear one of her beautifully feminine gowns at the Oscars.

Hollywood heavyweights Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz – who are big fans of Victoria's designs – and Charlize Theron are all said to have requested her help.

Despite the unbelievable honour, the mum-of-four is feeling the pressure.

“Although it's a great place to be in, Victoria's been working day and night to keep up with demand,” a source told the Daily Mirror.

“She's also preparing for New York Fashion Week and feels under enormous pressure.”

And Michelle Williams, another member of the VB fan club, is also still on the hunt for a frock.

Asked about the all-important topic at the pre-Oscars lunch, Michelle replied: "I wish I had something to tell you but I don't. Should I be worried?"

Rooney Mara may be another starlet to back British on film's biggest night.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo actress, who is making a name for herself as a style icon, has also admitted she hasn’t yet found a frock.

"I haven't found a dress yet but I'm not that worried about it," she said.

"The most important thing to me is feeling comfortable. I have to feel good in it. I like simple things, I don't like to wear anything too crazy."
