Oscars 2013: Stars head to LA as pre-ceremony parties get underway
WIth just a few days to go, stars of the silver screen are gearing up for Sunday night's Oscars ceremony. On Thursday the likes of Jessica Chastain, Helen Hunt, Orlando Bloom and Emmy Rosum headed to some of Hollywood's hottest venues, the Avalon nightclub and Italian restaurant Culina to celebrate the impending awards.
Jessica, who is a nominated in the 'Best Actress' category for her role in Zero Dark Thirty, sported a striking blue dress by designer Andrew GN. The knee-length cobalt number was topped with a bejeweled cape, contrasting with the actress' auburn locks. Jessica completed her outfit with simple nude Louboutins, pale pink lipstick and matching nail polish.

The parties continued in Beverly Hills. British actor Orlando Bloom and his wife Miranda Kerr stepped out at environmental company Global Green USA's Pre-Oscar party, beaming as they walked the appropriately green carpet.
Victoria's Secret model Miranda wore a bright patterned dress detailed with cutaway panels and a ruffled hem. Orlando, 36, looked less-preened than his glamorous other half, with his dark hair and beard in a casual style and sporting a black shirt and grey suit.
Oscar nominee Helen Hunt was part of the event's host committee. The star of What Women Want, who is up for the title of 'Best Supporting Actress', wore a teal coloured dress and black peep-toe shoes for the fundraising event designed to fight climate change.
Emmy Rossum, Sophia Bush and Lady Victoria Harvey completed the star-studded guest list who were treated to a musical performance by country music singer Willie Nelson.
