Oscars 2013: Kristen Stewart: Glamorous gown plus crutches

All eyes were on Kristen Stewart as she walked the Oscars red carpet, but it wasn't just because of her floor-sweeping Reem Acra gown and glittering jewels – the actress was hobbling with a set of crutches.

Despite her apparent injury, which she did not comment on, the Twilight star looked stunning in the blush, hand-beaded number with tulle inserts that was perfectly offset by Jimmy Choo skyscrapers and Fred Leighton jewellery.

Kristen, who was not accompanied by her on-off boyfriend Robert Pattinson, managed to hand her crutches over to an assistant for a moment to strike her best pose for the cameras.

Without her sticks, she suffered a slight stumble, but fellow actress Jennifer Lawrence offered a helping hand and managed to steady Kristen.

Kristen complemented her dazzling dress with her trademark relaxed locks and smoky eye make-up.

The star also took to the stage to present an award with Daniel Radcliffe. She left her crutches backstage, but it was clear that she was struggling to walk.
