Surrounded by flashing cameras and Hollywood's biggest names, Natalie Portman only had eyes for her leading man, Benjamin Millepied.

The smitten couple posed together outside the star-studded bash, which drew a glittering crowd that included Reese Witherspoon, Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom and Zooey Deschanel.

Black Swan star Natalie, 31, looked beautiful in a classic black and cream gown that perfectly complemented her husband's smart suit.
It was a rare night out for the pair, proud parents to little Aleph who will be two in June.
And the absence from the spotlight looks set to continue for the foreseeable future. Choreographer Benjamin recently announced that he will be the new director of dance at the Paris Opera Ballet.
The Bordeaux-born dancer will be moving with his wife and son to the French capital when he starts his new job next year.
Benjamin and Natalie met on the set of psychological thriller Black Swan in 2009, when he was brought in to choreograph. Natalie famously went on to win an Oscar, Golden Globe, SAG Award and Bafta for her portrayal of Nina Sayers.
In December 2010 they announced their engagement and confirmed her pregnancy, and in June 2011, Natalie gave birth to their baby boy.
One of the hottest tickets in town, the Vanity Fair bash attracted a host of Hollywood favourites who headed over to Sunset Tower for the post-Oscars event.
And the chance to attend the prestigious party warranted a wardrobe change for many leading ladies. Having already lit up the red carpet at the Academy Awards, they slipped into a second gown to carry on the celebrations.
Fresh from her Best Supporting Actress win, Anne Hathaway swapped her stunning pink column Prada gown for a beautiful blue dress with an intricate embellished neckline.
The 30-year-old star posed with her incredibly proud husband Adam Schulman while clutching her Oscars trophy as she arrived for the party, where she toasted her success with the night's other golden girl, Jennifer Lawrence.
The 22-year-old had collected her Best Actress award wearing a romantic Dior Haute Couture gown. She chose a contrasting sleek metallic Calvin Klein gown for her second red carpet appearance.
Other stars swapping their Oscars look included Naomi Watts who changed her futuristic Giorgio Armani Prive gown for a striking black and gold dress, and Amanda Seyfried who chose a bright and bold red gown to follow on from her delicate Alexander McQueen halter gown.
