Oscars 2013: HELLO! Readers vote Kristen Stewart the best dressed leading lady

Celebrity style watchers were treated to the usual array of gowns and glamour as the A-list ladies turned up to the Oscars last month.

But it was Twilight star Kristen Stewart who HELLO! readers voted best dressed of the night, despite her unusual accessories – a pair of clutches.

With her delicately embellished blush Reem Acra column gown, it was no surprise the actress topped our poll with a staggering 32 per cent of the overall vote. A pair of metallic Bloch flats – heels were a no-no due to her injury – completed the look.

Her stylist Tara Swennen recently revealed that she had a moment of panic after realising Kristen had hurt her leg. "My curveball this year was at the Oscars when I found out Kristen needed to use crutches!" she said.

"I spent the morning of the awards show searching for appropriate flats for her injured foot."

Coming in at second place in our best-dressed vote with 11 per cent was Jennifer Lawrence, who was stunning in an ivory Dior gown that she teamed with a backwards necklace.

The Silver Linings Playbook star tripped as she took to the stage to accept her Best Actress award, but she still managed to look impossibly elegant as she took the tumble.

Earning 10 per cent of the overall vote, third place went to Naomi Watts. The Impossible actress shimmered in a sequin silver Armani dress.

Only just missing out on a place in the top three was Jessica Chastain. The beautiful redhead, who won 9 per cent of the vote, turned heads in her gold Armani Prive gown that was offset by her bright red lips.

Other leading ladies to feature in the top ten included Charlize Theron, who was rocking her short crop, Jennifer Aniston who sizzled in scarlet, and British beauty Adele.
