Miranda Kerr bumps into ex Orlando Bloom at Oscars after-party

Miranda Kerr bumped into her estranged husband Orlando Bloom at one of Hollywood's Oscars after-parties on Sunday evening.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel, who was stunning in a figure-hugging metallic dress with a deep plunging neckline, first saw her ex on the red carpet of the Vanity Fair after-party – when she was mid-interview with a TV crew.

Orlando, 37, didn't hesitate in greeting the Australian model and mother of his three-year-old son Flynn, from whom he split at the end of last year after three years of marriage.

"Hi. You look amazing," said the British Hobbit star as he gave her a peck on the cheek. He then asked if she was doing well, to which a surprised Miranda replied, "Yes."

There was more model behaviour at the glitzy annual after-party as supermodels Irina Shayk and Rosie Huntington-Whitely were also in attendance.

Irina, 28, was sultry and sexy in a black slinky sequinned dress, while English model Rosie was breathtaking in a powder blue number with a sheer front panel and pearl detail.

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, meanwhile, turned heads on the red carpet in a cream gown with sparkly golden detail around her waist. Custom-made Brian Atwood platform heels finished her look, making her "model tall", as the actress tweeted earlier in the night, as she was joined by her fiancé Nick Loeb.

American sweetheart Reese Whitherspoon went for a daring black dress with panels across her chest while another blonde beauty, Naomi Watts, was angelic in a cream floor-length gown. Her blonde locks, a lick of red lipstick and a clutch added a pop of colour to her Oscars outfit.
