Jennifer Lawrence turned heads with her laidback chic look

Jennifer, who is nominated for Best Actress following her performance in Joy, chose to wear her platinum blonde bob down in tousled waves for the occasion, complementing her all-black ensemble with a classic winged eyeliner. Embracing the nude lips trend, the 25-year-old opted for a pale pink glossy lipstick to complete her striking look.

Meanwhile, Room star and Best Actress nominee Brie also mastered one of the season's biggest beauty crazes, mix and matching various shades of pink for a fresh-faced finish – rose hues for her lips, pale peach blusher on her cheeks, and even shimmering eyeshadow for a subtle yet striking contrast to her bold black eye make-up.

Minimal make-up was a favourite amongst the stars for an easy, glamorous daytime look – and one starlet who turned heads was Rooney Mara, who looked every inch an ethereal beauty with her radiant complexion and slicked back hair.

Rooney, who is up for the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in Carol alongside Cate Blanchett, kept her look simple with just a hint of mascara and nude lipgloss.

Also rocking a barely-there make-up look was Saoirse Ronan, who opted for products with a matte finish to enhance her features. The Brooklyn star, who is nominated for Best Actress, showed off her edgy beauty credentials with a statement lip, going for a pale coral shade.
